Service
When we become members of the United Methodist Church we vow to uphold it by "our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness."
Here is one of the ways we make ourselves available by our service:
Odd Jobbers
This group works under the supervision of the Trustees.
Days: 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings each month
Time: 9 a.m. to noon. We share a sack lunch when we finish.
Purpose: Do maintenance and repair of the building
Talent required? Not necessary, but always appreciated
Typical tasks:
- Clean fingerprints
- Repair toilets
- Patch/paint dings on the walls
- Replace light bulbs
- Clean/organize storerooms
- Build shelving
- Clean upholstery
