Craft Group
Join our weekly group of crafters for fellowship as we make items for charity. Knitted or crocheted prayer shawls; quilted lap robes and baby blankets; knit a helmet liner to keep a soldier warm. We’re currently working on pocket prayer shawls for children at Alaska Children’s Services for their May spiritual retreat. All donations welcome. For more information call Jan Wachsmuth or Jan Glines or come on Thursday mornings at church, 10 a.m. to noon for crafting fellowship. Whatever your craft, bring your project and join the group.

February 2010
- Char Benson and her husband visited with us to share her experience with prayer shawls and the ministry of prayer shawls
- Showing of a video from Alaska Children's Services. Our group will make 70 Pocket Prayer Shawls for the spiritual gathering during an ACS retreat at Birchwood Camp in May.
March 2010
- The group was invited to lunch with the Prayer Shawl Ministry of the River of Life (ELCA) church in Peter's Creek
