Vacation Bible School usually takes place in mid-summer, and the dates, theme and structure are announced in late April. VBS is a week long program for kindergarten through 5th grade children, with older youth participating as aides. When classes are divided by age/grade level, preschool classes are often available. If the children are taught in multi-aged groups preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Class structure depends on the theme chosen for the program. Everyone in the community is welcome to participate in VBS.
All personnel who work with children have passed background checks and are trained in Safe Sanctuaries procedures.
